Lilly Valley is undergoing a facelift
(Posted 01/30/2011)
Since December, members of Lilly Valley have been giving Lilly Valley a
facelift to the clubhouse and surrounding grounds to increase its aesthetic
and nude use recreation appeal. We are renovating the bathrooms to make them
larger, more accessible with better lighting and ventilation. We are
painting, cleaning, and generally redecorating the clubroom and the entrance
way. The club room was painted and had all of the ceiling tiles replaced. A
new ceiling fan was installed and new lighting is planned along with new
curtains. The last item will be new carpeting.

We are making repairs to the walls and floor of the old front office area to make it into a storage area and additional bathroom The fencing will be replaced where it is worn or painted to increase the aesthetic appeal. The indoor pool area is being refurbished. The ceiling and some of the walls are being replaced with better insulation and lighting included in the renovation. We are looking into a pool heating system. Our goal is to have the club open at least two weekends a month during the winter for swimming, water volleyball, hot tub and steam room use.
The outdoor pool will have its solar heating system refurbished to keep the pool warmer and reduce water loss. The kitchen has been cleaned and painted and is ready for the 2011 season.
